Wisdom of the blessed Naqshbandi Sheikhs

Allah SWT, has blessed his beloved messenger, Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, with unimaginable blessings and knowledge. This knowledge has then been passed down through the Naqshbandi Tareeqat, via the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him to Sayiddina Abu Bakr, RA, who passed it down to Hazrat Shah Naqshband RA. Further down to Hazrat Mujaddid e Paak, until it reached the blessed Sheikhs of Chura Shareef.

This wisdom of knowledge, is apparent through looking at the Sahih Sitah Hadith Shareefs, as well as the Holy Quran and looking at events which took place in the Holy Prophet’s, peace and blessing be upon him, life time. The wisdom of the Blessed Naqshbandi Sheikhs can be looked at through Seerahs that were written by themselves or prominent Scholars of the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jammah.
One such Blessed Sheikh was Khwaja Masoom Sarhindi RA, the son of Sheikh Ahmed Farooq Sarhindi RA (Mujaddid e Paak). The wisdom that these blessed Sheikhs possess is apparent through the following event.

Khwaja Masoom Sarhindi’s RA, teacher was called Qari Tahir Lohari. Khwaja Masoom Sarhindi RA, saw that upon the forehead of his teacher Qari Tahir Lohari, was written Jahanami (Dweller of Hell), troubled by this vision, he decided to take the matter to his father and murshid Mujaddid e Paak.

When sitting in the blessed court of Mujaddid e Paak, Khwaja Masoom Sarhindi’s father – Mujaddid e Paak noticed that his son was troubled by the would be fate of his teacher Qari Tahir Lohari. Like any true murshid-e-kamil, Mujaddid e Paak decided to remove his mureeds troubles.

Mujaddid e Paak when into meditation, after a short period Khwaja Masoom Sarhindi RA, saw that upon the forehead of his teacher, the word Jahanami (Dweller of Hell) was changed to Janathi (Dweller of Paradise). Khawaja Masoom Sarhindi RA, turned to his murshid, and stated that he could have changed the writing but he would like it confirmed on the Looh-e-Mahfooz.

Mujaddid e Paak, smiled upon this request, and went into meditation this time glancing towards the heaven. After a short period, Khwaja Masoom Sarhindi RA, glanced towards the Looh-e-Mahfooz, and saw that on the Looh-e- Mahfooz the word Jahanami had changed to Janathi.

Subhanallah, the is the power of the blessed Shiekhs. Khwaja Masoom Sarhindi had the ability to see the Looh-e- Mahfooz and also the writing on his teachers forehead but went to his blessed murshid for confirmation of Jannath for his teacher.

Amir e Millat, Hazrat Pir Jamat Ali Shah, RA of Alipur Shareef, Pakistan, use to regularly visit Chura Shareef and recite the following couplet, in honour of his Sheikh and his Shiekhs blessed household.

Kabil tha Naar, mujhe Jannath hui naseeb,
Is Dar Ki Hazri say meri kismet badil gee

I was worthy of the hell fire, I received the blessing of Jannath
By attending this blessed Household (Chura Shareef), my destiny was changed

Therefore we can see that by attending the blessed mehfils and gathering of Allahs beloved people, no matter how many sins we have, Allahs mercy is much more and by these blessed Sheikhs Nigah, our sins turn into rewards which will benefit us in this life and the hereafter.
